QUARTO configuration
The QUARTO high configuration includes insertion of two large support cylinders to support the two work cylinders of small diameter. This can:
- reduce separation force during rolling;
- reduce deformation energy;
- guarantee a constant end thickness;
- reach reduced minimum thicknesses;
To make the result even more precise, the work cylinders are also cooled.
