Mono-stand cold rolling machine for strips and plates

Strengths of the QR65 rolling mill are:

  • the fast change of work cylinders, which can be replaced by hand in just 15 minutes, without using particular equipment;
  • the 4 high rolling mills configuration, also used in the QR48 mono-stand rolling mill.

Applications

  • gold, silver, platinum
  • alloys for welding and brazing
  • Nb, Zr, Ta, Hf based alloys
  • multi-metallic materials
  • special alloys and superalloys

QUARTO configuration

The QUARTO high configuration includes insertion of two large support cylinders to support the two work cylinders of small diameter. This can:

  • reduce separation force during rolling;
  • reduce deformation energy;
  • guarantee a constant end thickness;
  • reach reduced minimum thicknesses;

To make the result even more precise, the work cylinders are also cooled.

Advantages

The mono-stand rolling mills designed and manufactured by INVIMEC have endless strengths:

  • the strong and rigid design guarantees extreme precision and consistency of the final measurement;
  • the machine is extremely intuitive, thanks to the ample HMI display and the multiple manual commands that simplify use in manual and automatic mode
  • the operator is completely safe, while at the same time maintaining maximum accessibility and easy inspection.
