The INVIMEC rolling machine with independent heads has been created to satisfy the needs of
producers of large quantities of rolled wire with differing specifications.
With independent motorisation of all the rolling stations (controlled by a motion-control PLC),
the client is able to customise the reductions for each different type of alloy or metal, and
then store them in the memory.
At a later stage the operator can then just load the corresponding programme and proceed with
automatic rolling.
For the model with movable heads, it is possible to exclude passes at input and output as desired so that the input and output wire is straight at each stage of the machine.
The choice of the number of passes to be made in sequence will be made according to the need to anneal the various materials and to achieve different profiles and sizes.
With this rolling machine in the line it is possible to achieve a great variety of wire sections. Some examples in attached file. |
